The incredible life of a unique woman who experienced the turmoil of the 20th century in many countries and ended her life in a garage.

 

Hallgrímur Helgason's novel The Woman at 1000 Degrees was nominated for the Icelandic Literary Award and The  Nordic Council Literature Prize and has been translated into nine languages.
