A group of performers spend a few hours arranging sponge cubes, creating patterns and landscapes while communicating and reflecting on their surroundings through song. The audience is invited to come and go, to witness and even participate. This is a quiet playground, a soft contemplation.
This event was a part of Katrín Gunnarsdottir’s research project Soft Encounters: A performative approach to embodying artificial intimacy, hosted by The Iceland University of the Arts.
